A Good Old Texas Apocalypse: An Interview With Author James Redmond

There are plenty of stories about a zombie apocalypse that threatens the Earth.  And in almost all of them if there is a military person involved. They’re usually a special forces operative, a pilot, or a highly trained super-soldier. But, what if our military character was just your average blue-collar mid-level non-commissioned officer? What if you may have had some train but it wasn’t the guy to call some giant plan is everyone, but had enough authority and character to take care of himself and those around him?

That is one of the major premises of James Redmond’s novel, Hell’s Maelstrom. At Fan Expo Dallas held June 17th through 19th 2022, Viral Hare had the opportunity to talk to James and get some insight into the motivation behind his novel, his own experiences as a Navy veteran, and his projects for the future.

With his unique take on the genre, Jame’s perspective is a fresh focal point in a sea of zombie tales. To find out more info about James and his other works, click on or navigate here:https://www.jamesredmondauthor.com/
