A Work In History: A Chat WIth Andrew Valdez

-

Andrew Valdez is an artist, husband, and father. He’s also a writer, amateur historian, and all-around nice guy. He has developed original characters one which combined his love of superheroes in history and another which used as a way to educate his daughter and help her out of a fear she had.

At Nerdcon in Mont Belvieu, Texas, I had the opportunity to interview Mr. Valdez and got some insight into his artistic process, his ambition for his stories and how he tells them, what he loves about his art and the types of projects he gets.

Andrew Valdez still makes art pieces from skateboards to t-shirts in his studio and is continuing to work on his comic-based projects. To see more of what he does connect here.
