Most people when they go to a comic or fan convention don’t often realize that there are panels that not only can entertain, but,can help your writing, art, or even podcast get better.
That was the aim of the Podcasting Do’s and Don’ts panel held at Comic Conroe 2021. Hosted by Greg Kelso, CJ Peterson, and Aimee Ravichandran as well as Mombie-rella, who has her own video channel on YouTube.
Viral Hare, some highlights from the workshop that gave some help to new podcasters in the audience.
Amongst the tips given to the audience were the following given by the panel:
- Make mistakes
- Learn from your episodes
- Learn your gear
- Give your guests opportunities
- Have structure
- The guest is the star
- Aware of live
- Be real
- Be who you are
- Be comfortable live or on camera
- Have fun
- Do the work
