Fan Art sees Emilia Clarke As Mera In place Of Amber Heard In ‘Aquaman 2′

Emilia Clarke As Mera? In a new fan image from jph_photoshop we see Emilia Clarke suit up as Mera, replacing Amber Heard In ‘Aquaman 2. In the image we see Emilia Clarke wearing the armor of the Atlantians from Zack Snyders Justice League, with long flowing red hair and a crown. She is standing on the shore before a vast ocean. Both Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa had previously starred together on the HBO smash hit Game of Thrones, which makes the British star a fan favorite to replace Amber Heard as Mera.

While there are no immediate plans to replace Amber Heard for the future of Aquaman, things could change if she loses her lawsuit with Johnny Depp which has already taken some turns in his favor. If Amber Heard was to be removed Emilia Clarke is the easy choice to replace her.

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom flood’s into theaters on December 16, 2022, and while the plot is still under wraps it is assumed that it will see Curry racing to rejoin the lost kingdom and discover who the Undying King is.

Here is the plot synopsis for the first Aquaman film:

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director, James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Aquaman is directed by James Wan and stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.
