This year Comic-Con Revolution once again invaded Ontario Califonia for the 2nd year, according to the convention website.
“Attendees can expect a full exhibit hall with over 300 exhibitors including comic creators (over 160 creators in Artist Alley), new comic dealers, vintage comic dealers, Comic publishers, toy & collectibles vendors, crafts, costumes, clothing, cosplayers, fan groups, media stars and more”
The Convention was founded upon the very simple principle to celebrate comics and the creative arts and to put the focus on the creators themselves! This year was again a smashing success for Ontario with over 7,489 Attendees! I had the privilege of attending as a member of the press and was lucky to meet with an impressive array of talent. Including famed creator Kevin VanHook (read our sites interview with him here)
The exhibit hall was even larger than last year with hundreds of vendors, creators, and cosplayers. It was nice because one expects high prices on conventions like this, however, I found all of the prices to be very competitive and the exhibitors very nice. One exhibitor was CBC Apparel and Collectibles They offered very friendly service and also had an amazing variety of themed Snapbacks (very high-quality ones) at competitive prices. They also had a great selection of custom Lego Mini Figures for sale! I look forward to buying another snapback when I attend next year.
Overall Comic-Con Revolution is one of my favorite cons to attend, it is friendly and feels more like a large family gathering than an event. Even expanded to two days and thousands of more attendees it did not lose that special feeling. If you have not attended I highly recommend it you will not be disappointed.
