At the Nerdcon in Mont Belvieu Texas originally got the interview, Mr. Shaffer, I got some insight into his love of teaching, his love for kids, what being a nerd means to him, and how the nerd Community seems to come together in their own way. He also spoke about how his love for comics, his community and what it all to put together means to him.

Jerry continues to work with nerd Fest, and also with the Eastern Rim con. is recently married and even though he digs all types of nerdom he is a huge Batman fan.
