I wish.
Unfortunately, this Season 3 of Mandalorian poster is not licensed by Disney, so this is not a hint of anything in the third season of Mandalorian. This is simply a piece of artwork created for fans “attending” Comic-Con San Diego. This work was done by Russell Works, and according to this Tweet, he states “Hey! Here’s the new Luke and Grogu piece I created for my pals @intltrends It’s called ‘Size Matters Not’. Man, you guys, I feel so lucky to be able to play in such a wonderful galactic sandbox.” According to Trends Internationals’ Twitter account, this particular poster is sold on shoptrends.com and is exclusively for Comic-Con At Home 2021.
According to the artists’ website, Russell Works Illustrations, he is an artist that does both traditional and digital illustrations & designs. He has done artwork for licensed properties for clients like Lucasfilm, Paramount, Twentieth Century Studios, Random House, etc. It also states that he is also a successful painter; his artwork has won both regional and national acclaim, and hangs in private collections around the world.
Will we see a licensed Season 3 of Mandalorian Disney poster for Mandalorians’ third season? According to TheCinemaholic.com, it states that “In July 2021, it was confirmed that the upcoming edition had begun filming. But still, an exact premiere date has not yet been announced.” My assumption is that there will be a poster made available exclusively for next year’s D23, or even possibly later this year.
