Five Ways WWE Could Book The Roman Reigns vs John Cena Match At No Mercy!

While WWE hasn’t yet given us many clues about who we will see win between Roman Reigns and John Cena at No Mercy in a few weeks, we are still expecting Roman Reigns to rebound after taking the pin from Brock Lesnar at Summerslam and pick up a win over big match Cena. Nevertheless, I can see something crazy happening to end this match. For example; try these five endings!

1. John Cena Wins Clean!

Obviously, we could see WWE giving Roman Reigns another push with a clean win over Cena, but what if they swerve us by giving Cena the win and putting Reigns at rock bottom, before slowly pushing himself back up the card coming towards WrestleMania and the inevitable rematch with Brock Lesnar. It would be an interesting and surprising way to end the match but could make sense because John has been destroying Roman in the promos leading to this match.

2. Somebody Turns Heel!

These two men are the ones that WWE has flat out refused to turn heel, so an incredibly surprising way to end the match would be with somebody turning heel, as it could result in an incredible run for either man as a heel. Of course, the reluctance that WWE has to turn either heel is the reason this won’t happen. Reigns will continue to be pushed as a top babyface despite the lukewarm reaction, and Cena has too much work in “Make a wish” foundations and such to turn heel at this point.

3. Hulk Hogan Returns!

This is my own personal hope, which is why it is fairly unlikely. If you were to turn Reigns heel, this could be a great way to do it. Hulk Hogan hasn’t been mentioned in this feud, despite being the face of the company before either Reigns or Cena. It has been rumored he could return to WWE TV soon, and I would love to see him help Reigns win and become a manager for Roman. However, this is again an unlikely option.

4. The Shield Reunites!

This is the most likely route to turning Roman heel, although I’ve got to say it doesn’t make a lot of sense right now because Rollins and Ambrose are excellent babyface tag team champions and should be kept as such, which they wouldn’t be if they interfered and helped Roman beat Cena. However, there is one person that I actually think could interfere in this match. In fact, I’d consider it almost likely he will make an appearance at No Mercy.

5. The Undertaker Returns!

It could happen. The Undertaker’s seeming retirement to end WrestleMania XXIII was an excellent way for him to go out, but it was a poor match with Reigns, and now he’s had his hip surgery and has apparently been training recently for a potential comeback. Interfering here to help either man win would be epic because it could set up a final match for Taker at either Survivor Series or WrestleMania. A Reigns vs Taker rematch would allow Reigns to get over again by defeating and properly retiring the Phenom, but all the potential hype over a Taker vs Cena match at WrestleMania over the years could finally be satisfied as well.

That’s all folks, what do you guys think could go down at No Mercy? Do you want to see a return, a heel turn, or just a clean victory for one of the men? Let us know in the comments and check out more WWE news and videos on Facebook at NEWSquarters.
