Four Colors and Fair Square: An Interview with Fabrice Sopolsky

-

Not everyone knows where they may have heard the name, Fabrice Sopolsky, but mention Spiderman: Noir, and most fans will reply” Oh yeah, that guy”.

What the average fan may not know is that Mr. Fabrice Sopolsky is also the CEO and Founder of Fair Square Comics, a unique publishing house that helps minority and immigrant creators the opportunity to tell their stories. While at FanExpo Dallas in June I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Fabrice Sopolsky and get his unique point of view on the publishing industry and his part in it.

**Be advised this video was taken during an active comic con so there is background noise, pauses due to customer interactions, and interested customers looking at books during the interview.**

Fair Square Comics not only has original books by creators, they have welcomed previously published books into their fold to bring these books to a larger audience.

FairSquare Comics LLC was created in June 2019 to develop, publish and distribute original comic books and graphic novels. FairSquare Comics‘ mission statement is to promote and give more exposure to immigrants, minorities and under-represented creators of the world; an objective emphasized in our company’s mantra:

“Comics from the rest of us”

So, if you would like to see comics published outside of the big three, that take a unique perspective on comic books as a whole, and may actually connect with your point of view then you really should check out Fair Square Comics.
