From Houston With Groove : Vic Mignogna Is Featured Guest At Pop Culture Con

Comic, pop culture, and sci-fi conventions in Houston Texas, are always special. but, when one of the celebrities is also a Houstonian,  it makes it just a bit more awesome. Pop Culture Con is proud to welcome Vic Mignogna to its halls in Spring, Texas this March 2025.

Pop Culture Con welcomes multi-talented voice actor and musician Vic Mignogna. With over 25 years of voice acting credits in video games, web series, and films, Mignogna’s current role is the iconic Captain Kirk in the award-winning web series “Star Trek Continues.” His new album “Up There Down Here,” is available on iTunes. Mignogna’s early beginnings began with commercial and music work in the Houston area. His big break in voice acting started 25 years ago with Vega in Streetfighter II and includes over four hundred animated series and video games with iconic roles like Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Broly in Dragon Ball, Obito/Nagato in Naruto, Keldeo in Pokemon to name a few. Video game roles he’s voiced include Soul Caliber, Avengers, Star Trek Online, Pac-Man, and Sonic Colors. His directorial career includes the popular series Claymore, Twin Star Exorcists & Juni Taisen. Musically, Mignogna has written and produced hundreds of works for TV, radio, and 20 contemporary Christian CDs, including DC Talk’s 1989 debut CD. Many of his voice work and music can be found on iTunes and Amazon. Mignogna continues to work writing, producing, and directing video and film productions of all kinds.

Mignogna’s voice acting career began as Vega in Streetfighter II. With a multitude of roles under his belt, he has made one of his dreams come true portraying Captain Kirk in the award-winning web series “Star Trek Continues,” in which he serves as executive producer and director. Mignogna has starred in several films and has seven studio albums. He will appear on both days to greet fans and is available for photos and autographs.
