Inside the Disney STAR WARS HOTEL

Disney has just announced that they will be building a hotel that is being described as an Immersive. Star Wars. Hotel. There are not a lot of details as Disney just dropped the news at D23 Expo in Los Angeles. So far here is what we know about this incredably cool new attraction.

1. All of the Disney Cast Members who will work at the Hotel will be in will be in costume and in character (This will make it hilarious when someone is arguing over the bill) This will lend itself to an incredibly immersive experience.

2. Each guest who stays at the hotel will get a “story-line” that is described as following them for every single minute of your day. This is an interesting development as it has not be explained how they will make the story or how it will impact the guests stay.

3. The hotel is designed to look like a Star Ship, thus there will be no windows looking outside, each window will show a scene from space. It is assumed that the windows will be digital, so that it looks like the hotel is flying past stars, this is very cool and very VR like for a hotel.

The potential for this hotel is incredible, as of now there are not an hotels like it in the United States. If it is seen as a success it could usher in a whole new style of hotel experiences. Just think, a Star Trek Enterprise hotel, or Marvel Superheros, even Game of Thrones (ok that idea may be a bad one, we want the guests to check out alive)

Sadly for Disney fans on the West Coast, the Star Wars Hotel will be build in Florida’s Walt Disney World. However you can bet that Disney already has plans about bringing one to California, Hong Kong and Paris as soon as possible.

Will you be planning on checking in to the Star Wars Hotel?
