Not all multimedia entertainers can bring stage acting into voicework with ease. Although it has become common for well-known actors to voice roles in animated and live-action movies and series, not everyone can handle the job.
However, this is not the case with Christie Guidry, as she has found ways to use the projection techniques she has leaned from theatre to her roles in the world of anime.
At the recent Nerd Con, held in Mt. Belvieu, TX, I had the opportunity to interview Christie and learned a few things about her work, her voice technique, and about the anime industry in Houston, TX.
