KimoKawaii 2022: Conroe Continues Con Connections

For anime fans who are wanting a kinetically capable, colossal con of epic comeliness then look no further than  KimoKawaii Anime Experience and Convention on June 4-5, 2022, at the Lonestar Convention and Expo Center, 

And KimoKawaii will be kameha level cool thanks to the special guests in attendance:

From Dragonball GT: Elise Baughman (Pan) – multifaceted actress, TV host, speaker, and coach

And from Dragonball Z: Cynthia Cranz (Chi Chi) – Voice Actress, Josh Martin (Majin Buu) – Voice Actor/, Chris Rager (Mr. Satan) – Voice Actor.

Josh Martin, voice actor for our pink pallored pariah will be a featured guest at KimoKawaii.

KimoKawaii is also giving back to the community. Local creative artists will showcase their artistic talentsat the live art auction with all donations of the sales to Texas Children’s Hospital. Details will be forthcoming.

Fans attending KimoKawaii will enjoy karaoke, Battle of the Bands, a Dance Party, and various Cosplay games and contests throughout the weekend.

There will be purchase opportunities for custom anime sketches, autographs from the guests, and even opportunities to participate in voice work for an anime produced by KimoKawaii.

Ticket prices start at $15 and go up to a VIP pass at $350. The VIP package includes goodies such as KimoKuwaii swag, autographed pics, and a custom anime sketch, Also it includes a VIP-only Ramen luncheon with the special guests at the show.

The VIP luncheon may or may not look like this.

This is the second fandom-oriented event for Conroe, the first being the Comic Conore show that was held July 23rd-25th of 2021. Hosting KimoKawaii at the Lone Star Convention Center gives the City of Conroe an unprecedented opportunity to compete with Houston as a new center of fandom in the greater South East Texas region, and adds another show built around and for anime fans.

As of this time, KimoKawaii will have sanitation statins with masks and wipes for use by attendees, and although masks are encouraged at this time they are not required.  As state and local mandates change, attendees should look at the site for updates. 

Also, no weapons are allowed. All cosplay weapons and accessories will be checked to ensure they are safe and not harmful for all attending.

The show will be hosted at The Lone Star Convention Center located at 9055 Airport Rd, Conroe, TX 77303.
