Luke Perry, Creator of Goodnight For Justice, dead at 52

On March 4th, 2019 Coy Luther Perry, also known as Luke Perry, passed away from complications due to stroke. Mr. Perry was a popular actor who although having many starring roles in film and television came to national consciousness through his portrayal of Dylan McKay on the TV series Beverly Hills 90210.

Mr. Perry had many guests roles on TV series such Law & Order Special Victims Unit and many others. He came back to the forefront of TV audiences playing Fred Andrews the father of Archie Andrews on the CW TV series Riverdale.

Amongst roles that Mr. Perry had taken, one of his most beloved was as Lane Frost in the biographical film 8 Seconds, he was the male lead in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer film. Not very well known to many of his fans but Mr. Perry did a Trilogy of films for the Hallmark Channel based on characters and concepts he had created called The Goodnight For Justice series. He played the lead character, an old west judge named  John Goodnight, who used his wits and wisdom to survive the dilemmas he came across in the old Wyoming territories. Developed and created by Mr. Perry , the debut film was ditected by his long time friend and 90210 co star Jason Preistly.

Mr. Perry also did voice work on several animated series, such as Biker Mice From Mars, and also appeared as an animated version of himself on Johnny Bravo and The Simpsons.

Mr. Perry is survived by son and fiance and was known as a kind and friendly actor work with. He will live on for many in the over 20 plus years of his work. As of this writing no details on funeral or burial are announced.
