Super Cupid Fight: DCUO’s Valentine’s Event

Once again DC Universe ONline is sharing the love with it’s upcoming Valentine’s Day event, kicking off the season of love with new items for bases and gear for decking out your hero.

These are couple of the gear options such as a Kitty backpack, and glittery wings ar shown here in the video by Youtube DCUO expert Torikumu:

Last year , the base items were themed around going to the movies. This year they are themed around going to a carnival.  The base items includes stationary roller coaster and sky ride/ferris wheel cars as well as entrance, exit, and swan boat for your own tunnel of love. ALso carnival signs and games are available as well.

The currency used to purchase these items is earned through missions, such as assisting the Star Sapphires, from the Green Lantern comics, in protecting their love crystals being attacked by Mr. Freeze’s henchmen.

Also, you can go through an search and find biographical adventure that tells the love story of Aquaman and Queen Mera, hot on the heels of the Aquaman movie.

There is a team up against Mr. Freeze attempting to use the Sapphire crystals to revive his wife that depending on the mission group you can be either on the good guys or bad guys team.

Also, there is a race around Gotham that can be ran to attempt to win more hearts currency for buying the items. The seasonal items can be found in a Gotham Police station next to Green Lantern in a vending machine , or if you are playing a villain, with Mr. Freeze at a Gotham villain safe house.

This event normally runs the entire month of February, and has been a recurring event since roughly 2011, and has been a welcome part of the DCUO seasonal events since the first release.
