The 2024 Golden Scythe Horror Awards Announces Chilling Nominations


“Five Nights at Freddy’s” received a total of 18 nominations, including “Best
Picture.”

Its that time of year again! When Awards shows begin to announce nominations for the best films of the last year. The 2nd Annual Golden Scythe Horror Awards has just dropped its shocking and chilling nominations for the best horror movies of the year! Now winners of the 2024 Golden Scythe Horror Awards will be announced during a live stream event that will be aired globally from the Awards homepage on January 27, 2024.

Emma Tammi’s “Five Nights at Freddy’s” led the Golden Scythe Horror Awards nominations
with 18. The popular film adaptation of the beloved video game franchise was also a box office
smash for the horror genre this year, earning a total of $291.7 million against a budget of $20
million, becoming Blumhouse Productions’ highest-grossing film worldwide, surpassing their
2016 film “Split.”

In addition, the stars of the film received nominations for their hard-work on the film including
Josh Hutcherson for Best Actor in a Leading Role, while Elizabeth Lail received a nomination for
Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and Matthew Lillard for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
