By hydrating our bodies we can reduce joint pain, flush bacteria and waste from our system and it creates glowing skin [our skin is the largest organ in our bodies]. With all that health incentive, here are four easy and economical drinks to make that will hydrate all day long and they taste great!

  • Strawberry-Pomegranate and Basil- Fill a Mason jar with crushed strawberries and pomegranate seeds, add a few basil leaves [this aromatic herb blends nicely] add ice and pour in ice cold water, enjoy!
  • Blackberry and Sage- Rub sage leaves between your fingers and place at bottom of a large glass or whatever container you are using. Add blackberries and then add a small amount of ice. Top the rest of the glass off with icy cold water and enjoy a beautiful, refreshing drink.
  • Cucumber-Mint- Squeeze some mint leaves and place in bottom of jar. Thinly slice cucumber and add to mint leaves. Pour ice cold water over the ingredients and stir for a refreshing drink on a hot day.
  • Grapefruit and Rosemary-Wash your grapefruit well and slice, add to container. Add a large sprig of rosemary and then add ice. Pour in iced water or cold sparkling water for a wonderful refreshing drink.
