Well Drawn And Quartered: An Interview With Mark Nelson

Even though you might not know his face or his name doesn’t always come to mind in the nerd world, Mark Nelson is a big part of it. An illustrator and educator who has worked for TSR producing artwork for Dungeons & Dragons since 1985

He has also, done extensive work in the comic book industry for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Now Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and even Kitchen Sink Press. His best-known work is in the Aliens comic book series for Dark Horse Comics.

 At the Eastern Rim con held in August 2024, I had the opportunity to sit down and speak to Mr Nelson about where I thought the industry was going, and how the Advent of AI has affected the fantasy and sci-fi industry.
