15 Ways To Be Passive Aggressive With List Articles

**THIS IS MEANT AS SATIRE, BUT PAY HEED TO THE WARNINGS BELOW**

You have seen them on your favorite entertainment sites such as cbr.com and screenrant.com. Yes, those 15 things list which is used to attack the movie like Justice League or TV show like Iron Fist just trying to buy a bunch of other stuff so you the Holly gullible and nonthinking reader will assume that everything else it’s not just fluffed to cover what the true target of the list is.

And here are 15 ways we can tell you what’s going on and where:

  1.  Whether it’s best and worst of lists or the worst things possible list number 15 is usually something that is a distraction. Airy and completely different from what the list may or maybe not about.

  1.   Next, up of course you’ll probably be able to see a pattern established. Two items in your own may or may not be seen where the list is going. With these lists, though it could be which Marvel Superheroes the beast from Wolverine is the fuzziest or who plays Superman in Supergirl, The Movie.

  1. Here’s where if it’s a  best of/worst of the list where you’ll see the good or bad thing that will be different from the last two parts of the list. Also, there will usually be an off-color joke or give a nudge and a wink to the reader to continue to want this is just showing them that they’re doing a list just do a list of listening things.

12.Here at number 12, it’s more of the same and all of a sudden we get to see for example an incarnation of Batman or Superman other than mainstream comics, movies, or some what if idea someone proposed at one time that has nothing to do with the list but the author felt justified to include.

 

  1. Again here we are in the list for the Wonder Woman’s hairstyle, Super Girls brief use of hair bands in the 80s, or the fact what the latest hair color for Black Widow in The Avengers movies when are the listing things right now are important for our list.  Related image

 

  1. By number 10 we usually get to the item in the list which makes us wonder why we went this far. This item is usually something more or less possibly loved by some people and is hated by the article writer. The author at this point number 10, or close by is usually the true reason for the article hidden in the list. And in this paragraph by bulldozing, tearing, and shredding the object of the author’s ire. Usually this paragraph is loaded with f-bombs and a couple sentences to make the author of seem intellectual and witty.

  1.  Here’s where we usually get some type of fluff or decoration or if it’s a best of/worst of list something that is really good and nice and pretty for the author to have us believe that everything is good and pretty with list.

  1. At number eight there’s really no reason continue with this list, I’m sure you get the gist eager reader.

 

All the list articles can be fun and are good ways at times to categorize and organize share with a reader , However these lists have been used on several author’s to attack different franchises or a pop culture property.

 

The continued use of these type of articles has gotten to a point where the fun parts of Pop Culture writing and entertainment journalism seem trite and lazy. And if these list articles continue to be used as means of attack where are there in form and entertained then this could very well taint the fun of writing these articles and the fun or reading them.
