5 Actors Who Could Bring Blue Beetle to Arrow on The CW!

Blue Beetle on CW

After seeing a major Easter egg referring to Ted Kord recently, it’s only logical that we’ll see him eventually. Because of this, I’d like to suggest a few actors who could play the character, and I hope you enjoy!

1. John Krasinski

Krasinski has proved to be a hilarious comedic actor in roles like The Office, but recently he’s decided to take up action in his latest movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Having experience in both areas, Krasinski could pull off the rich hero wannabe in all his comedic and action glory.

2. Josh Radnor

While Josh Radnor hasn’t had experience with action, he could definitely pull off the goofy aspects of the character. He could use this role to add an action hero to his resume, and he would fit right in with the other pretty boy superheroes of the CW.

3. Zach Braff

While you may never have considered that Zach Braff would make a good superhero, that may be his biggest appeal. He doesn’t look like a superhero. He’s an amazing comedic actor that, if given the chance, could bring us a more comedic Blue Beetle. If he could fill the suit, then he could do the job!

4. Adam Scott

Adam Scott, much like Braff, has probably never been thought of to play a superhero, but he’s terrific for a comedic role. He could bring out the most hilarious aspects of Blue Beetle, and he’s actually in fair shape. He could be believed in action sequences, and is hilarious all around!

5. Wil Wheaton

Wil Wheaton hasn’t done much in recent years, but a comedic role in Arrow (of all the shows to have a comedic role in, right?), could be what brings him back into the limelight. If he could pull off the charismatic, rich guy feel (akin to Brandon Routh’s portrayal of The Atom), then the comedy practically writes itself!
