The Doctor Sivana Clue in the Shazam Trailer EVERYONE Missed!

DC’s newest film Shazam promises to bring the fun and funny back to the ever expanding world of the DCEU, with a lively new hero in the form of Billy Batson who is given the power of Shazam! the film is already pridicted to earn not only good reviews but a large opening weekend at the box office. A powerful wizard and tasked with protecting the world from magical threats both seen and unseen. So let’s look at The Doctor Sivana Clue in the Shazam Trailer EVERYONE Missed!

While many fans expected the film’s villain to be long time Shazam baddie Black Adam, it was revealed that the titular hero would be facing off with the evil Doctor Sivana, played by vetren actor Mark Strong. The film has released two trailers for the movie and each has been loaded with clues about its story and just what Billy will face. One thing that has been mysterious is just what role, powers and motivation Doctor Sivana will have in the film.

Well thanks to the latest trailer from Warner Bros we now have a better idea about what Doctor Sivana may be up to! In the comics, the villain has the ability to see magic with one of his eyes and is obsessed with magical properties. This seems to be continued in the film, and it seems that
Doctor Sivana will be seeking out the source of Billy’s power. We all know from the trailer that Billy gets his power from the old Wizard, and in the trailer we see said Wizard carrying a glowing staff.

Now we have no idea what kind of power this staff holds or what it grants its holder. However it seems that the power of the staff must be something that Doctor Sivana desires, and that it may hold the key for him to defeat Billy once and for all. As said above the staff is seen in the hands of the Wizard. Later on in the second trailer in a blink and you will miss it scene, we see that Doctor Sivana is wielding the staff in a battle with Shazam!

We see the two locked in combat in a Christmas winter wonderland and in the scene in question, we see a blast (Seemingly from Billy) that blows
Doctor Sivana back, and in the doctors hands is the glowing staff! So it would seem that he needs the staff for some reason and it gives him extra power to fight Shazam who wields incredible power.

While this is a small revelation, these two scenes showcase for us some of what Billy will face as he fights Doctor Sivana in a seeming battle to the death. It seems that the villain is seeking to gather magical power to himself, likely as a way to give himself extra power to fight Shazam (who has superhuman strength) As Sivana is just a normal human he would need the extra magical power to be able to face Billy in a fight.

So are you excited for Shazam! Do you think this latest clue is a sign Billy may be in for more then he can handle? Let us know below!
