Of Fans and Film Extras: An Interview with Nerd Fest

With all of the craziness in fandom these days, sometimes it’s hard to find a group that lets nerds be nerds without all of the politics or name calling. However, James Chisum and Brian Anderson decided to change that both longtime nerds, these two fans wanted something different in how fan groups operate and have even dragged the author into their orbit. I got to sit down and talk to these guys and got to even find out a little bit about Brian’s movie passions as well as James’s passion for all of nerddom.

Although NerdFest is a closed group, anyone can apply to the Facebook group and check it out. Also, they are involved with many grassroots cons such as Eastern Rim and Nerd Con, so take the time to find out about a fan group that is all about you, the nerd.
