Avengers: Endgame Cast Sings MCU Recap “We Didn’t Start the Fire”

Billy Joel is perhaps best remembered for his seminal song titled “We Didn’t Start the Fire”, its a lively upbeat song that chronicles American life through the decades. Starting in 1949 the song features rapid-fire allusions to more than 100 headline events between 1949 and 1989. The music video showcases a kitchen and family as it moves from decade to decade and changes with the times, Joel himself appears as an observer in the kitchen and then sitting in front of a table while flames consume iconic photographs from the decades.

Recently the cast of Avengers: Endgame recaped the entire Marvel franchise by singing their own superhero version of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire.” for Jimmy Fallen, the video showcases each actor singing in a comic-book frame and flashes on there superhero alter-ego and the movies they appeared in. Jimmy himself appears in the video in the role that Billy Joel played. The video is fun and funny and ends with a touching tribute to Marvel creator Stan Lee, which alludes that it was Lee who started the fire of Superhero popularity.
