Start It Up, Welcome to Comic Conroe

Friday, 07/23/2021, the inaugural opening of Comic Conroe came to pass, and a new nerd show opened to the publc.

Having a nice celebrity row that includes Kevin Sorbo and DC Glenn, Comic Conroe is off to good start for fans. With an emphasis on accessibility, easy to find vendors, and an attentive staff this looks to be a good show.

If a WW1 soldier and a knight talk to an author, what’s the story?

A family friendly venue with good ticket pricing, the first half of the show’s first day had plenty to share with the attending public.

The venue is fairly comfortable, and has places to sit , and easy to navigate passages between the show booths.

They got prints, they got toys, and most importantly, they got comic books,

The initial impression of the show is one that although has some bits of confusion, and planning , (which is normal fir a new show), this appears to be a show that the good folks of Conroe, Texas, and their nerd community want to keep going.

This looks cool, I wonder what’s down there?

The management of this con , also managed to get a pretty nifty fan group to the show, representing ,Star Trek, USS Zavala, who amongst many awesome things to the show, brought a meeting table that looks like it’s straight from the original series.

And if the replicators work, they would give the concession stand some competition.

If you can make your way to Conroe ,TX , and the Lone Star Convention Center, make your way to Comic Conroe, it’s fine little show and with their set up and pricing, it’s a good time you can’t afford to miss. The show runs until Sunday, July 25th, 2021.
