Emilia Isabelle Euphemia Rose Clarke better known by her stage name Emilia Clarke is best known for her break out role in the blockbuster television show Game of Thrones. Emilia Clarke was born in London and grew up in Berkshire, England, she studied at the Drama Centre London and appeared in a number of stage productions. Her debut was in the British soap opera Doctors. She was also named one of the UK Stars of Tomorrow by Screen International magazine in 2010.
Gaining a slew of awards and nominations from her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series Game of Thrones, Clarke has also appeared in a number of films, including Terminator: Genisys, Me Before You, and Above Suspicion. Clarke made headlines when it was announced that she was cast in a major supporting role in the blockbuster “Solo: A Star Wars Story” as a new character from the Star Wars universe.
Now she is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming Disney Plus series Secret Invasion.
