Have you heard about the brand new and exciting Cosplay contest coming this month? VERO: True Social has announced the Vero Fan Favorite Cosplay Contest an exciting contest that will take place at C2E2 in Chicago later this month. VERO for those who are not familiar is a revolutionary social media app that brings the concept of “Real world social” as envisioned by founder and CEO Ayman Hariri to the world of social media. the popular app promises no algorithms or data collecting of its users, a promise that the app has kept as its experienced tremendous growth.
From the beginning Cosplayers have been a large and very active part of the VERO community, sharing photos and videos and largely updating people on what they were up to. As a thank you to this amazing community VERO: True Social is going to be presenting the Vero Fan Favorite Cosplay Contest at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo on
March 22 and Saturday, March 23.
The contest is open to any Vero user resident in the United States who will be attending C2E2 on the above mentioned days and will be giving away some amazing prizes to the winners of the group and individual category. One of the coolest prizes is a photo session with eminent photographer Clay Enos (300, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman) in New York City! Not only that but the judges of this contest will be Cosplayers Philip Joseph of Canvas Cosplay, Rachael Marie of Lucky Grim Creative, and Jaclyn Fox known as Casterly Fox. The winner of the Individual Competition will receive:
- A write-up in the launch issue of C4 Magazine (Conventions, Cosplay, Collectibles & Culture) announcing their win.
- A photo session with photographer Clay Enos (300, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman) in New York City (including airfare + hotel).
- 2 VIP Experience passes to Universal Studios in California (including airfare + hotel).
The winners of the Group Prize will receive:
- A group write-up in the launch issue of C4 Magazine announcing their win.
- A group photo session with Clay Enos in New York City (including airfare + hotel for each member of the group).
- 2 x VIP Experience passes for each member of the group to Universal Studios in California (including airfare + hotel).
Now I’m sure you are wondering how to go about entering this awesome contest! Well it’s pretty simple according to the VERO Website those who wish to enter must do the following
- 1. Contestants must be in attendance at C2E2 on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23.
- 2. Download Vero from the App or Google Play Store and register for a free account.
- 3. Post a Photo (or slideshow of images in a single post) of your cosplay outfit on Vero and use the caption #VEROFanFaveContest.(If submitting a group entry, only one of you needs to post, but you must tag the other users’ Vero accounts in your post.) All entries must be received by 8 pm CST on Friday, March 22, 2019,
