She has an Inkling: A chat with Kelly Colby

There are many large publishing houses the produce books and young adult sci-fi fantasy markets, however not a lot of them have those working for them that are both author and editor within their fault. However, Kelly Colby is one such person who is an author in her own right is also the acquisitions editor for the Houston-based Inklings Publishing Company.

Miss Colby has a degree in biology and understands what it’s like to put a book together, get it published, and get it to market. I had the opportunity to speak with her at Nerdcon and Mont Belvieu Texas recently, I got some insight and to the way she works and what it’s like to do what she does.
