FAN EXPO NOLA: Round Two For Good Things Nerdy In The Quarter

Celebrity, Industry, Cosplay, Fandom, Gaming, Anime, and Many Other Topics for Nearly 150 Panels Over Three Days Featured at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center

From celebrity Q&As to industry, cosplay, gaming, anime, and entertaining, informative sessions from all areas of pop culture, FAN EXPO New Orleans presents its collection of nearly 150 programming panels and meetups during the event, Friday through Sunday, January 6-8 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. There’s truly something for every fan and every taste every hour of the show into the evening throughout all three days of the convention, right until Sunday’s 5 p.m. finish.

Carl Weathers is an American actor, television director and former professional football player. He is known for his roles as boxer Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky films (1976–85), George Dillon in Predator (1987), Action Jackson in Action Jackson (1988), and  a recurring role as Greef Karga in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian (2019–).

FAN EXPO New Orleans celebrity guests like Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, The Evil Dead franchise); Matthew Lewis (“Neville Longbottom”) and Bonnie Wright (“Ginny Weasley”) of the Harry Potter franchise; Giancarlo Esposito (“The Mandalorian,” “Breaking Bad”); Carl Weathers (“The Mandalorian,” “Predator”); Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings, The Goonies); Henry Winkler (“Happy Days,” “Barry”); Emily Swallow (“The Mandalorian,” “Supernatural”) and many others will conduct interactive sessions with fans, headlining the thorough slate.

Joseph Quinn is a British actor, best known for his role as Eddie Munson in the fourth season of the Netflix series Stranger Things.

There are dozens of informative, entertaining panels by superstar creators as well as cosplay, gaming, trivia, film, horror and other pop culture-themed sessions.

Sean Astin is a beloved actor who is well known for his film roles as Mikey Walsh in The Goonies, Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger in Rudy, Bob Newby in Stranger Things, and Sam Gamgee in the Academy Award-winning trilogy, The Lord of the Rings.

FAN EXPO NOLA will also host comics, collectibles, and toy vendors from around the country. Along with the special panels, there will be autographs and photo sessions with different guests you can purchase tickets for. The event will be at the Ernest N.
