FanExpo New Orleans: Chock Full Of Content and Creators

During the weekend of January 7-9, 2022, nerds from all over fandom were let in to be part of the inaugural episode for FanExpo New Orleans held at The Ernest Morial Convention Center.

Attending acting guests included William Shatner, Anthony Mackie, Theo Rossi, and Ron Perlman. And creators from the world of comics such as Michael Golden, Josef Rubenstein, and Renee Witterstatter were present at the FanExpo Artist’s Alley.

Original art, gifts, and collectibles were available from different booths. Also, classic comics, toys, clothing, and art were available for sale from vendors at FanExpo. To get a feel of how events unfolded at the opening and during at FanExpo, take a look at the slideshow below.

When attending such cons as FanExpo, usually one of the highlights is meeting established and new artists bringing something new to these shows the slide show below has a few of the best and brightest from FanExpo New Orleans.

Although there were cancellations and more than a few reschedules for the show, Several of the celebrities scheduled intend to be at FanExpo shows later on in the year. The show was held in accordance with NOLA guidelines for COVID, and FanExpo did its best to ensure the safety of all of its guests and attendees.

FanExpo will have con exclusive and locally focused merchandise at its shows. They will be selling items such as Funko POOPS, lanyards, and comics at booths like this one.
